Great company. Dale is really awesome to deal with Very fair on cost for the new system. Have a new system at my office that is perfect for my needs. He is Johnny on the spot when it comes to taking care of any issues.

I wish I could give 0 stars. When our system indicated a comm error, we called Dale Burger who said he was in our area and knew exactly what the problem was. He dropped by, opened the unit and removed the battery and then reconnected. This was a 'system reset'. Any 6-yr-old could do the procedure. He then expected a $45 fee when he hadn't advised us in advance there would be a charge and clearly this was something we could have done ourselves for no fee.

The security company was acquired by Monotronix some years ago and I NEVER would have agreed to be a customer of Monotronix had I known this (had horrible experience with them in Las Vegas)

There was a fantastic help for my family, he really made sure to fix the issue right away. He was able to redo our whole system and was doing it at a fantastic cost compared to the competition. If you need someone to read you your alarm system or install new alarm system or pair an alarm system he is the person to contact. Thanks Dale! Glad there still are people like him around.

I have been using Act security for over 10 years. When i purchased my home it had a security system before so all i really needed was monitoring. I had called a few other companies for prices but was surprised how expensive it was. When Dale from Act came out to my home he said my equipment was fine to use and i would not have to replace it, wheras the other companies wanted me to "upgrade" for a fee.

I have monitoring and pay half of what the other companies wanted. If i have any issues with the equipment all i need to do is make a phone call and Dale is there within 24 hours. Its difficult to find that kind of service these days. i highly recommend this company if you like getting great service for a great price

ACT security did the installation and collected their share of the monthly charge for 2 years. When we called and informed them that we needed to disable the system while renovation took place, they did not simply tell us to unplug the system and move it to another plug but came out to do it themselves and charged $48. They moved the system and left the frayed wires (see attached pic) knowing that they were not right.

When I called back to inform them (Dale who is the owner) to come out and fix his system, he said there would be another $48 service call to come out and fix what should have been fixed when he came out to move the system. This lack of customer service and refusing to back up his product is disappointing to say the least and appalling. When everything was going fine Dale was your best buddy gladly taking his share of the service fee but when there were issues that he should resolve, he took the stance that I should simply tape the wires. Really? I would not recommend this company at all as apparently they do not value customer service and do not back their products.

Nice guys but too many things went wrong, is not even worth listing them all. Their mistakes made them look like amateurs. In the end everything worked out but I had to be on top of them with many follow up calls.
