Supervision and the guard at Calvary Cemetery completely unresponsive, incompetent, and remiss in their duties. Guard caused more than 10 people in at least 3 separate vehicles to become locked in the cemetery by closing the gates early and leaving without checking for vehicles or persons on the grounds first. Dispatcher became dismissive and belligerent with callers' inquiries.

After no response or information from the dispatcher that someone would respond in a reasonable time, it became necessary to request the FDNY repond to cut the lock to release those who were being held on the cemetery grounds. This situation could've been avoided by competent practices and communication within the company itself. Starting with but not limited to sweeping the grounds not only for visitors but to detect and deter any possible criminality. If I could give zero stars I would, but I definitely would not recommend Axel Protection for any site security services.

Clean and air conditioned. Can't complain. Went for fingerprinting on a Saturday for a 10am appointment. Arrived at 9:53, signed my name on the list and was seen at 10:15. Was done after 2 minutes. Barely interacted with anyone but that's fine. Everyone was doing their jobs and things went swiftly. Only thing strange was that it didn't seem like anyone checked if you had an appointment or not. I probably could have came later or earlier than my appointment time and no one would have known.

Honestly my experience was horrible so I don't recommend this place to anyone. Choose a different location! My appointment was for 8:30am, I arrived there at 8:15am and had to write my name on the sign in list. There were 3 other people ahead of me on the list already. The place was very cold. It's a first come first served operation. So there's no need to even schedule an early appointment online because when you get there it's based on who signed in first.

So now it's about 9am when she finally does call me. She doesn't even ask for my appointment sheet to see what time you're supposed to be seen. Then the lady "Gail" was very rude to me. This was my first time being fingered printed so I didn't know the process. She tells me to sign a paper, so I'm reading the paper and she's telling me to hurry up because I'm slowing down the process Very impatient when I went in my purse to get my Social Security Card, she stated "You just got your Social Security Card?

You should have it memorized with your ID number" Then couldn't even do the scan for my fingerprints correctly. Each finger, she had to redo about 4 to 5 times. (but I was slowing down the process by reading before I sign my name on a paper) She was so rude towards me, I guess she doesn't like her job or whatever. But I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there. Go to Manhattan, you get better service.

Nothing but great things to say here. Yes, the appointment you make in advance seems to be pointless, but the service was very fast. I had a 920 appt and arrived at 9. Put my name on a list and had a seat in a very crowded small waiting area. Despite the number of people, my name was called within 15 minutes. Amelia was the sweetest woman who handled my fingerprinting. She had a great attitude, knew what she was doing and did her job well.

Thankfully that when I had to go here after work to be fingerprinted for the second time for my after school job, I didn't encounter the rude woman that everyone else posted about. I was serviced by a woman and she seemed like she could have an attitude however, I did kill her with kindness & I made sure I was ready, and followed her directions so as not to give her a reason to become annoyed.

But like other reviews here have stated it seems that it doesn't matter that you make an appointment (even though there are huge signs stating you must have an appointment) you walk in, sign your name on the list and they call you according to the next name that comes up on the list. I think their point of you having to make an appointment is because they need to find your name in their database but they don't adhere to the time chosen.

When I got there, there was one woman inside being serviced and it was taking a while and only the one woman was helping. There were two other men back there and after I arrived at 5:15 pm it got crowded and nobody else that was back there got up to service anyone, in fact one man was leaving when I was being serviced.

Got fingerprinted. Appt was for 9. Got there at 850 am on a Monday. Got in at 905 AM. Out by 915. No frills. Polite service by a young gentleman. Even entertained some of my "just curious questions." But we weren't serviced by the Jamaican lady so who knows if our experience would've been different. We did hear her rush one guy to come in even though he had a clear ambulatory problem. Hmm.

-1 star if i could! My appointment was on monday at 8 am. Got there 10 mins early. There was only one person ahead of me who was waiting. Then the Jamaican lady came out her little office. She screamed to the lady waiting " ID's two forms of ID keep them out, u have to follow the signs! ID's and come inside". I was appalled with her attitude. 10 mins later it was my turn and i already had my ID's out and she called me inside.

She tells me to put my bag down, keep all papers away. I asked her where to keep my bag and she points to a little cubby under her desk, as if its so obvious that it belongs there. She is very condescending and rude. She answers questions in anger and puts ppl down a lot. I asked her one question about my form that needed to be filled out but i wasnt sure it was suppose to be filled out by me or her.

She gave me and answer like " what does it say here? Applicants name and information right? So the form should be filled out already before u got here! I told you when u came in to keep all papers away". I was like " ok i don't know why your so angry but theres a way to talk to people". She got offended and was saying how she was just making a statement and that shes not angry.

I told her " have a good day, Goodbye". And she was still talking defending herself as i was leaving. Shes an angry person who hates her life and her job. And takes it out on other ppl. I definitely don't recommend anyone to go back here! Or please hire a new employee that treats people better!

The most horrible customer service I ever experienced. I called the women to ask a question and she kept cutting me off and telling me my question was unnecessary. I would seek another place to get finger printing done. The attitude from the staff there is disgusting. Would give 0 starts if I could.

I had called the office before business hours for information and reached the most rudest male that did not understand what customer services. If this is a 24 hour security service they need to learn phone manners. Your first impression is some times your last! I have worked as a Security Dispatcher for a company doing 30,000 hours and I would have been disciplined for talking rude on the phone.

Had to take 1 star off because of the attitude of the Jamaican cr@ckhe@d mentioned in previous reviews and discrepancies in application info. Useful advice: -Saturday morning appointment worked great. (Waited less than 5min) -If you're there for NYS criminal record: I entered a "Care Of" address during the online registration, but those fields are not present in their software so I ended up having to have the record sent to an address I didn't want it sent to.

Enter the address you want the record sent to in the "Home Address" section during registration. -Expired passports are accepted according to the online registration page but when I got there they tried to pull a fast one on me by telling me that they're not acceptable if the feds punched holes through them. True or not, they need to specify beforehand.

Don't expect your appointment to be on time here for fingerprinting. I specifically wanted an early appointment but in fact was waiting for a full hour. They say slow and steady wins the race, but this was really annoying for someone who just wanted to be in and out of here. There's one woman running the show and she goes around answering calls, chit chating with random people, and slowing down everyone's appointment.

Please hire a receptionist! Since she knows she's already late on schedule, she doesnt bother going in the order by appointment, instead she goes in the order you signed in. My recommendation is to get there early (despite appointment time), sign in and take a seat. She calls you out by the number on the sign in sheet and not by name. I was really pissed to find out that someone who had an appointment at 9 went in before me and my appointment was 7:45. She speaks to you in a condescending way too. Lastly, check all her inputs, she made a mistake on mine.

I'm sitting in their office right now awaiting my turn to be fingerprinted and am just appalled by the Jamaican lady's disgusting rudeness. The way she treats everyone who has the misfortune of interacting with her borders on actual abuse. People who either don't move fast enough for her or don't know to do something that's obvious only to her are given the full force of her nasty attitude.

The only person who seems helpful and friendly is the poor young fellow at the front desk who has to listen to everyone being abused. Also, having an appointment means nothing here because you still have to wait an eternity past your scheduled time. But if you don't have one, you might not get seen at all. All the appointment does is ensure you will be seen sometime during the day. $85 later, I'm walking out of here feeling like I don't need a massage because I already got the crap beaten out of me by the nasty Jamaican lady.
