We were selling our home and as a result of misunderstandings and miscommunications were backed into a corner time wise with an inspection and some work. Bill in sales (I think) moved some things around and had someone on site in two days who determined we needed updated devices. Patrick installed them on the same trip which got us compliant for FD inspection and closing. Thanks Bill and Patrick for your help and respomsivemes.

I cant even give 1 star. I never write reviews but have to in this case. We have been long time customers of CCA and are appalled at their new way of doing business. First let me say Ron and Jason are great as their field technicians We had one of our cameras installed less then 2 years ago and it failed. We made an appt for repair. They cancelled on us 3 times after we waited for their arrival.

When they finally came they said camera was bad and they would replace it and might be under warranty. They called a few days later and said they would install new camera never mentioning that it was not under warranty. Then a week or so after installation we get a bill for $690.63 for a camera I can buy online for $120.00 that says it has a 5 year warranty.

When questioned they said they would reduce bill to $350 which is still outrageous as we have been long time customers and camera cost is $120 with a 5 year warranty. Whatever has happened internally with this company is disgraceful and no way to do business. I have been replacing their cameras with blink cameras that work just as well and are a fraction of the cost and you can install yourself in no time.

Make your own decisions but I will never use CCA again after a long working relationship with them. I understand all small businesses are struggling but this is just outrageous and price gouging.

Great Company, very professional, care about customer service and our wellbeing. But the best thing is they are local monitoring, service and sales all on beautiful Cape Cod.

Did not deliver on signed proposal of June 5, 2018 to incorporate existing security system into fire alarm panel. Was instructed by the sales rep, who came to our condo, not to pay another monthly fee as we would be billed one time of $220. Yes, we have the proposal. Multiple calls to attempt to straighten this out. Office unaware, despite several calls explaining above, that a sales rep actually came over. We've had no resolution.

I've been a customer for ~2 months and am already looking for a new provider. I've had two false fire alarms dispatched to my fire department, resulting in engines coming alarms blazing to my house to discover no actual alarms were going off. The service department seems overloaded and unable to provide timely support. Each person who calls me seems to not have the context from the conversations / decisions of previous calls - e.g.

I was called about a low battery alarm a few hours after I had been told by support to disable my battery. The customer service is not what you would expect from a service business that performs such a critical function, from the person who sold me the system to the people answer service calls. Overall I am in the market for a new provider, and regret spending the money with this vendor.

I had an alarm system installed by Cape Cod Alarm this past spring. I am quite knowledgeable about alarms due to my job and was looking for a local alarm company for my home. Bill came out to do a survey and was very thorough and no nonsense. He made commonsense recommendations and did not try to upsell instead let me know about additional options.

I purchased the system outright (no "free" or $99 alarms here) at a fair price and entered into a one year monitoring contract by their in-house central station at a decent rate. I have never had a malfunction or false alarm other than those caused by me to test the alarm system. I highly recommend this company and will be renewing my monitoring contract this spring.
