I first used Safe Systems in the late 1990's when I lived in Boulder and they were a top-notch company. However, it's gotten harder and harder to get someone on the phone; you often get sent to voicemail. After posting this review, I was pleased that Safe Systems reached out to me and made an effort to address the issue. So I gave them another try and the salesperson was prompt, courteous and informed. Although I can't be sure they have fixed their voicemail issues, I do give them an "A" for effort.

I recently had a home alarm system installed by Safe Systems. Initially the first installation was incorrectly done (setting off false alarms, pieces falling apart). I let the company know and they immediately sent a new crew (including an exec from HQ) to resolve it. They spent hours making sure it was correctly installed and walking me through the system.

The system has been working perfectly since then and I've been happy with the customer service- especially Brandon Busby who went above and beyond to fix the initial incorrect installation and make sure our home was properly protected. I can recommend them without hesitation now.

I have been a customer for 15 years. Safe systems bills 3 months in advance. I turned off my phone line in July but was paid up until October. I have asked for a refund for the months they provided no service and no they are sending me a past due notice for the next 3 months that they still can not provide service. I have had several phone calls, emails and snail mail interactions expressing they can not provide service. stop trying to intimidate me.

We acquired a portfolio of buildings, monitored by Safe Systems since the building was a year old. A duct sensor had failed, and they charged us nearly $1,000 to tell us the whole system needed replacement. We then called another company, found that Safe Systems was not even authorized by Honeywell to work on our systems. We then checked with the State of Colorado and found they were not licensed to inspect fire sprinklers, but did so anyway. Long story short, our new vendor fixed the entire problem efficiently and properly because they knew what they were doing. I cannot recommend Safe Systems.

My family and I have been in the Jewelry business for 72 years. We have always needed a top of the line security system. I just had the best experience we have had in probably 20 years with Safe Systems. Shout out to 'Art' the sales manager, to each of the experts (Robert, Ever, and Chris) on the installation team were very professional and polite!

They had very tuff working conditions high above a safe and a shelf in a dark closet. They were in there for hours on their knees and worked efficiently, quietly and kept the work area safe and clean during business hours. They arrived on time and did an amazing job! The transition from our former security company (we had been very unhappy with) was seamless all because of the Safe Systems team.

We are extremely happy with the upgrades they made in our system and with every person we have come in contact with i the company. We were using Safe Systems as our dispatch for our fire alarm system for over two years. I interacted with their tech support, installers, dispatch and front office teams. These individuals have been professional, friendly, competent and helpful. We moved onto a different company when a general contractor doing renovations at our building brought in a different group, but I recommend Safe Systems to anyone needing this kind of support.

Very disappointing customer service. Been customers of Safe System for many years but will be changing companies. We've been trying to get our camera's fixed and upgraded for 6 months. Talked to two sales people. Could not get a call back from either. Then escalated and spoke to two different managers. One manager said he "was still trying to figure to what happened." Very frustrated with the response of Safe Systems after 6 months of trying to get our camera's working and upgraded and many phone calls.

Even Safe System's managers were not concerned that they had an upset customer. Be aware that once they sign you up the customer service is poor. Still waiting to get working camera's.

Technician Bill from Safe Systems came to our home to troubleshoot and repair/replace an issue we were having with our carbon monoxide detectors. Bill was very professional in his appearance and during the conduct of the work he performed. He did fix the issue! I have asked Safe Systems that if they have to ever send a technician to our house that they send Bill. Safe Systems has been very responsive to our needs in the 20 plus years we have been using their alarm service. Without a doubt I would recommend them for your alarm needs.

I was originally a customer of Colorado Telemetry. As such, I paid for installation and equipment ($1800), and had a flexible monitoring contract. When Colorado Telemetry was purchased by Safe Systems, I was informed that we would be required to pay $199 to continue service. Against my better judgment, we paid the fee in order to avoid having to switch to a different company with different equipment.

Fast forward 2.5 years, and I called to cancel my service, only to be informed that I had been switched to a 3 year contract when I agreed to the $199 fee. When I checked into the details, I realized that despite trying to hold me to a fixed fee contract for 3 years, Safe Systems had raised the monitoring fee by $3 earlier in the year. Unless you are a lawyer and enjoy reviewing fine print, I would strongly, strongly encourage you to avoid doing business with this company.

Even if you review the fine print, they will not hold up their end of the deal. UPDATE: To Safe Systems' credit, the owner contacted me and agreed to release me from the last 5 months of service, since I had been under continuous service for 6.5 years. Brandon was very professional in his response and I appreciate it. I can also say that the actual service from Safe Systems was never an issue.

For example - when we were out of town and had an attempted break-in, Safe Systems notified local police, who responded and secured our home. I would advise any potential Safe Systems customer to carefully and thoroughly review your contract before signing. The standard contract include language which allows Safe Systems to increase service fees by up to 10% per year, while customers are obligated to a 3 year commitment and have no way out if prices are increased.

I have had wonderful service from Safe Systems and their employees. The staff are pleasant to talk to in person and on the phone. The company is respectful of my time as well as theirs. Safe Systems calls ahead to let me know when the Tech will be coming out to do work in my building. I appreciate this because we have two school programs in our church building and security is very important to us.

I want to know who is coming to our building and when to expect them. The staff I have dealt with are friendly and will take their time to explain things, if that is what is needed. You can count on Safe Systems.
