Certificates for both burglar and fire alarm systems. Our trained dispatchers and technicians are licensed and background checked through the State of Texas and are available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

I've been dealing with East Texas Alarm for 15 years and have always gotten great service, products and monitoring. Their technicians really know their stuff and provide courteous and professional service. Cesar has been the most recent on site excellent technician and certainly impressed me with his initial skills, knowledge and then follow up service. He figures it out and gets it right because good help is hard to find and worth the expense!

They do a good job of monitoring alarms. But. I had some upgrade work done on a home and planned to have them do some work on another home, and to monitor that home as well. When the work was done on the first home, I quickly read through the agreement and signed it. After reviewing the agreement more closely, I came to understand that there is an indemnity clause wherein the property owner indemnifies East Texas Alarm against all third party claims, for whatever reason, arising from the monitored property.

I called East Texas Alarm to cancel the planned work on the 2nd property or to have the indemnity clause removed from the agreement for the 2nd property. The salesman, Randy Gentry raised his voice, I raised my voice, and he hung up on me. Very unprofessional. I'll cancel the monitoring on the first property when the year has expired.

We moved into a new house and of course we didn't know the alarm code. My husband was pushing buttons and accidentally "armed" the house. Not knowing the code we call the number listed here. It was around 9pm and we got to talk to an actual person! She got us secured for the night and had someone come out the next day to reset our code.

Wade is a great Tech. I was very discouraged when they tried to install my updated system. He first called me on a weekend night to reassure me. He then came out to my house and he never up! A positive attitude even when I was not so positive. I believe he would have worked all night to get my new system working if I had let him! He came back the second day and again keep trying until he was positive that it worked and I was happy. This is the type of employee that all companies need. I was ready to switch companies but he would not let me give up.

Fairly reliable service, but they left half inch holes in all our window sills during installation (a few sills had two holes because of miscalculations by the installer). Those holes lead directly into the attic. Did the installer think we wouldn't see them behind the blinds? All things considered, I'm being kind of generous giving them a third star.

Not helpful on the phone and then quoted me an incorrect price for service call. Weekends are more expensive yet the customer service representive apparently didn't know it. Thankfully the service technician was kind and helpful.
