Great community very well managed. Is neat and clean with good roads has a very good restaurant. A large pavillion is available along with church facilities. Didn't golf but the course looked good.

I only give it one star for the security officers at the main gate. They are rude and give delivery drivers a hard time to get the residents in THEIR community the food they order. And then laugh in the booth about it! Beautiful place though. Love the view.

My Mother and Father live in Hideaway. It is a beautiful place. However, be very cautious about joining this HOA. Hideaway Lake Community Church (Yes, a Church) is allowed to threaten my elderly parents. My Father is almost 89 and is a disabled veteran. My Mother is a retired school teacher. Hideaway Lake Club can stop this abuse by revoking the dam spillway lease to the Church. Please research this HOA. It has so much potential. I ask for prayers for my family.

Great golf course. There are also large parks, tennis courts, basketball court, swimming pool and plenty of boat ramps with good size lakes for recreation and fishing all in a secure community with manned gates and roving security.

Service was fantastic, always had my drink being filled and asked if I was okay. Food was amazing, one of the best pulled pork sandwiches I've ever had.

This place represents the worst of the HOA syndrome. Controlled by biddies who nitpick over trivial issues and see both residents and guests as mere ATMs to rob whenever they like. The facilities are outdated and the entire place feels dated. Save yourself headaches and avoid this dismal pit.

Love the food, drinks, and prices. The service can be a little slow depending on the time of day but they are always friendly! We frequent it often.

I wish I could give negative stars. My significant other and I were just pulling out of the gas station when the lawn mower at this golf course threw a golf ball at our truck, which was on the public road leading to the I-20 on ramp. We now have a big dent in the passenger side door two inches from the window, and where I was sitting. My significant other then went inside and asked to speak to the manager.

When the manager came out and he told him what happened with a very bad attitude, and smug smile the manager said that that happens all the time, and it's a road hazard our insurance should cover! This horrible remark angered him to which he said that the golf ball could have hit me inside the truck had we been a couple seconds faster, and that they should put up silt fences so this doesn't happen to anyone else.

The manager with the same smug smile said he couldn't do anything. I would hate to see someone seriously harmed or killed because a golf ball hit their person! We avidly golf all over the country while we travel, and will be sure to tell everyone we come across what happened; as well as the horribly poor customer service.

Great food and great service. Have to be a member to eat there. The chipotle chicken sandwich and the pesto chicken sandwich are my favorites
