HVS is an American manufacturer of specialized closed-circuit TV camera systems and other operator aids. Having a video record of what happens if pallets get damaged or people get hurt shows who was responsible and helps prevent future incidents. Since 1996, Holland Vision Systems has been providing rugged video camera systems tailored to meet customers' needs. We started by helping the farmers. Agricultural equipment is large with blind spots and farmers had difficulty seeing their crops around this heavy equipment. Working outdoors in all kinds of weather, with dirt flying and heavy vibration, farmers could not find the heavy mobile video systems they needed.
The IDVR-TH System includes one to four weatherproof high-resolution cameras, a full-featured DVR, hard drive, PC software to enable automatic backups and live viewing (no subscription required), and accessories. The IDVRW-TH System includes HD cameras and DVR, solid state hard drive, PC software to enable automatic backups and live viewing (no subscription required), and accessories.
Increase in throughput (more picks-per-hour) because operators gain confidence when they are able to watch their forks more closely. They are also able to use appropriate caution when they can see they are dealing with a broken or turned pallet. Increase in warehouse square-foot utilization (some customers would not place products on higher rack levels because operators could not see to handle products there safely or without damage).
