Do not hire these folks they will racially profile anyone who isn't "white". I've seen it for myself and I got kicked off out of a public park because I didn't "live in the neighborhood". Which is quite odd cuz the park clearly stated it was public!

I got to my interview that was set up at 1030 and filled out the application that was sitting there with a note stating fill out the application and one of the staff will be right with you. I filled out the application and 40 minutes later some staff and potential hires walked in and one of the staff members introduced himself and said they would be right with me witch I appreciated.

But the waited another 10 minutes for this other guy to come out and asked what time my appointment was and I said 1030 and at that moment it was 11:20 he then asked if I was late and I said I was here at 10:30 and was waiting to be helped. He then informed me that he was not going to hire me and to leave. There were another girl waiting as well and didn't have an application and was waiting for 20 minutes as well with no help. This company needs help!

These people are complete failures as far as security guards. They employ the absolute worst people you can find to do security work. Their guards are often found sleeping or out of uniform, and generally well bearded. Their branch managers have issues with power and control often believing that their minor position of authority grants them some sort of power in the real world.

They believe they are above the law, abuse their employees, who are once more often worthless, and break labor laws by forcing these apelike men to work mandatory overtime and short change them hours at any time they find a chance.

Liars and con-artists. They had my car towed from in front of my house because my permit had fallen onto my dashboard. It was still clearly visible. When I figured out what had happened the next morning and called them and they denied patrolling the area. The tow company explicitly gave me their name as calling for the tow. The tow yard attendant told me they have "kick back" deals from security companies who refer tows to them.

My neighborhood is currently in the process of hiring a new security company because I am not the only person with a similar story. They are a bunch of police academy rejects with too much time on their hands.

If I could put less then one star for this company I would. They have a horrible turn over rate and I know why now. They don't like to pay their employees what they earn. They a very racist, their payroll and their management is so incredibly unorganized and half of them don't even know how to do their job! I am surprised this company has been in business so long. If you were looking for a job here please turn away. Do not give this company your time.

For such a large security company I have not had the best experience with Lantz Security staff or owners. Living in the small rural town of Moorpark in a complex of roughly a few hundred condo's Lantz Security has failed to replace out dated patrol/parking signs on the premises listing the old security company leading to numerous residents cars being towed as well residents confused about how to contact security for information.

When speaking with staff and one of the owner to express my frustration I was basically told "tough luck, not our problem & we don't have to replace signs" a very sad form of customer service if you ask me especially from a company who's job is to make you feel secure at your place of residents. Furthermore when told that I was not alone on this issue and would be speak with my HOA company with other upset residents I was told "go right ahead and post it online if you want". All and all the actions I have experienced to do not represent a reputable company that businesses or residents can trust.

Lantz security guard Chris at Woodridge Estates in Thousand Oaks makes vulgar comments towards me and reeks of marijuana every time I go there. Does this company drug test? Clearly not since he's been working there for years.

Do not apply to this company, they're thieves! I applied with this company in summer 2010 through job corps in East LA and was told that I got hired after the interview. I was told to go to job training (paid) to the Lancaster office, now I live in South Los Angeles and had to wake up around 0530 hours. After the long ride and being in the hot weather for over 8 hours that Lancaster has they called it a day.

We got our measurements done for our uniforms and also had to take a drug test while at the office. Next we were told that they will contact us to begin working at our post. Few weeks went by and never received a call that's when I decided to get in touch with them. After I spoke with somebody from the office I was told that they never got the contract at the place that I was supposed to work at.

Why hire new employees then? So I asked them where I could pick up my check that I was supposed to receive for training and was told that they had sent them out already. I never got my check and got fed up of calling them because nobody knew what was going on. I wonder how many other people they've done that to. Smh
