Paid about 80% more than my other go-to locksmith. Service-call charge alone was the normal bill but then added a couple hours labor on top. Lock broke again in about 7 days. Lesson learned.

Always a great place to get your keys made. They have been in business for a very long time. They are reliable, professional, and they are just plain awesome. I always feel satisfied with my security needs.

Professional and courteous staff. Got two keys copied in less than 2 minutes. They even made sure the keys worked before I left. Most other places usually told me to get bent if the keys didn't work. Will be using liberty from here on out.

When I had an issue with our commercial safe, I contacted everyone and their mothers. I began to get frustrated with my situatiuon. I contacted LIberty and spoke with Brian. When I explained my situation and the urgency of it, he went above and beyond to find someone to get to our business within an hour. When John arrived, he worked his magic, then offered to take my hardware back to his shop to repair the malfuction. Liberty came back the next day.

They charged me what they originally quoted me and did not charge me for repairing the hardware at their facility despite having to make another trip to me in order to return the hardware. In an age of decreasing customer service, I am pleased to recommend Liberty who needs a locksmith.

Liberty Lock was wonderful and extremely quick to assist me when I locked myself out of my car in front of the gas pump. Wonderful speedy service! I was only 10 minutes late to work.

I called early Monday morning because my key got stuck in my door when I was leaving for work. He got to my house within 45 minutes and fixed it within 5 minutes. He made sure to check and recheck my key 20 times to ensure it wouldn't get stuck again and also gave me tips to prevent it from happening again.

Not recommend this place. It is not only extremely expensive than other providers but mislead and playwith consumers.

I made the decision I wanted a high quality safe, did LOTS of research, and came to the conclusion an American Security (AMSEC) was the best choice. I contacted multiple safe sellers to get quotes. Kevin Plummer from Liberty was willing to make a site visit (before I even decided who to buy from) to make sure it was possible to deliver and install the safe where I wanted.

I decided I needed this level of customer service through the whole process. The fact they offered me the best price was just a bonus. I gave him the specs for the BFII I wanted and they placed the order. Kevin kept me up to date during the 8 week wait while AMSEC built my safe. Eight weeks later, a crew of 4 moved my new safe a substantial distance through my very uneven yard to get it into my walk out basement.

Super solid key shop here. I drove out here during my lunch hour based on the Yelp reviews and I was not disappointed. Walked in on a Wednesday at noon and asked for two duplicate keys. They were made on the spot and I left three minutes later, only $11 short. And the keys work great! So much better than the Lowe's duplicate and the KeyMe duplicates that take 5 minute of jiggling before they open the door. Liberty is a real locksmith - highly recommended.

I called them earlier today and they were able to come out within hours (there was no emergency). The tech called me when he was on the way and was promptly on time. He was friendly and helped me to make the best decision that fit my needs. I had just purchased this home and the deadbolt and plate were off. He was able to fix it quickly and it was better than before.

The tech was friendly, professional, and neat in appearance. I liked that he had all the necessary tools on hand and had his license card visible. (I forgot his name, but he did a great job today). I will definitely be calling them in the near future for assistance with other locks in the home.

I feel that customer service with this company is lacking. I called at 8:30 am to schedule an appointment for a locksmith to unlock my door and was give the window of 10 - 12 pm. 1 pm rolls around and the locksmith still hasn't shown up. I called their office and was informed that I was "next" on the list and that the window of time is only an estimate.

I informed the lady i spoke to on the phone that I understand things come up and the locksmith may tend to encounter additional problems at the previous job site, however, a courtesy call would have been nice and helpful to manage customers' expectations.

Need fast service as a walk in and they staff was great they changed the keys on the locks I had and made a great master system for me. Solved a monster headache and did it while I waited at very reasonable prices. I will be back if I need more work done.

This place is awesome. Every time I need speciality keys copied, I come here. I got tired of wasting time going to Home Depot just for them to tell me my keys can't be copied there. One thing Home Depot did though, was referred me to Liberty. They were able to copy my apartment and work office door key literally within a matter of seconds. Very fast service with friendly faces.

They sell some diesel looking safes too. If I were in the business or need to purchase one, I would buy it her. Along with the safes, they have various sports lanyards and other key accessories. Pretty cool.

Went to get some keys copied - I was greeted immediately, got my keys copied and was out in two minutes! Highly recommend!

Our home is 90 years old with gorgeous original wooden doors. Unfortunately, it also had the original outdated locks, which were not at all secure or effective. Although we were quite concerned about damaging the architectural character of the house, we hired Liberty to install new deadbolt locks. Darryl was great to work with. He called in advance to confirm times, located very high quality antiqued hardware that perfectly matches the original hardware, and installed them so they look nearly original. The locks work beautifully. I highly recommend this company.

I highly recommend Liberty Lock. Michael came to install a sleek Samsung digital lock for me today and the whole process went like a breeze. On-line, there are lots of complains about how hard it is to get this particular lock installed and I called 7 locksmiths around DC all said no they cannot install the lock. Finally Paul at Pop-a-lock and Michelle at Rockville Lock and Safe took the time to look at the lock and kindly referred me to Liberty.

I spoke to Daniel on the phone initially about the lock, he asked me to send him pictures of my current lock, details on the new lock and said if anyone can do it it would be Liberty. He was right! I am so very happy with the installation, both Michael and Daniel are most professional and very kind. I will for sure hire them again in the future and highly recommend Liberty.

Im very happy with their professional service! i Needed to do 2x duplicate keys for my old Ford. I had my own aftermarket blanks- with less than 2minutes all was done and worked perfectly!

They are really honest with super friendly and fast service. I dealt with other locksmith companies and they really want to squeeze every penny out of your pocket. I've been to Liberty Lock & Security five times over the last five years. Their staff provides exemplary customer service and expertise in their craft. I've had car keys made from just a glance at a deformed key, Ford chipped keys programmed, and a bunch of other household locksmith needs taken care of well by the folks at Liberty. Furthermore, I consider their pricing to provide a good value.

This is a short review, but had I known about their key copying abilities from Yelp beforehand, this would have saved me a ton of time, so: go to Liberty Lock to copy your keys! Other stores have limited key inventory, and will direct you here anyway! After spending the better part of an afternoon going from hardware store (Home Depot) to hardware store (Sears) to copy a key and failing, Liberty Lock was FINALLY able to copy my apparently very old/out of style key in about 2 minutes while being incredibly friendly, despite the store being packed during closing time.

Unlike what I've read about other DMV locksmiths, I didn't have to go back to get the key fixed, as it was perfect and fit in my door when it was copied! Go here and save yourself the time and stress!

It pays to make a few phone calls. We had to get two doors re-keyed. I was quoted prices from nearly $900.00 to less than $300.00. Liberty was polite and on time and did the work exactly as quoted. Michael our locksmith was great, I will continue to use Liberty for all my and my company's locksmith needs.

Liberty Lock recently did some work in my home, and I couldn't be happier! The employees arrived exactly on time. They were very careful as to not damage my walls. They were efficient, polite, and very personable. I recommend them 100%.

I came here because I was running an errand for my mom. We had gone to Home Depot to copy our house keys, but with error as usual. Finally, we decided to try a real locksmith. My friend and I were greeted promptly by Joe, who was more than happy to help us with our keys. We had wonderful small talk and he gave me a discount on each key since we were buying so many!

On top of that, he gave me one free key because of a promotion they had going on their website! It was more than what we'd usually pay, but it was worth it. All our keys work! Big shoutout to Joe!

Great place and great service! They not only know how to work with cars but give great advice and are honest. They don't try to rip you off and make sure your keys work well. You should definitely go here. Must better service than trying to get keys made at Lowe's or Home Depot. It's worth the overhead cost.

There is no such thing as a cheap locksmith but Liberty Locks is honest, helpful and very reasonable. After using the cheap locks at Home Depot that kept on wearing out after a year because the lock was exposed to rain, I went to Liberty Locks and they got me the lock I needed and never had another issue. I have been back there several times for my extra keys and they even got me back in my car after I locked the keys in it. These guys are super nice, reasonable priced and trustworthy.
