I took my level 3 several times with Loss Prevention Texas awesome gun instructor and always up to date on the new laws.

Mr. Simmons is very knowledgable, professional and a great instructor. I would highly recommend him for (LTC) hand gun training.

I will be recommending Mr. Simmons courses at Loss Prevention Texas any chance I get. His business is very professional and well rounded as we covered a lot of information. I left feeling like I'd retained an abundance of knowledge & will return if/when needed without a second thought.

I just completed the commissioned officer course. Mr. Simmons was very knowledgeable, very patient, and very accommodating. He answered any and every question that was asked regarding the material we covered. I may go and pursue the Level 4 course. I will recommend Mr. Simmons any and every chance I get! If you are interested in security and needing to get licensed, Mr. Simmons and Loss Prevention Texas is your place! It was an absolute pleasure!

I got Commissioned in October of last year Mr Simmons made the full day of class upbeat not boring at all. All the student took part of the class. The shooting part was exciting. Mr. Simmons offered us snacks and a breakfast taco. His the nicest Instructor and very knowledgeable.

Called for information on taking his Security Guard class and was abruptly cut off and told "You need to hurry! I'm in a class!" by Simmons himself. That's a good way to earn money and promote your business. Advice! Hire someone to answer your phones and deal with potential customers. Very rude and unprofessional. Won't do business here. I do not recall any cussing going on.

But none-the-less. If you're so busy with customers that you have to rudely and abruptly end a phone call with a potential client the way you did, hire someone to answer your phone. I spent 22.5 years dealing with people talking too me the way you did and that'll never happen again.

You can't say enough great things about this man. Thank you sir for giving back in all your experience! All 5 of us had a great time during training. It's important to know what to do and what not to do so go in there with the mind set of "I'm going to learn" not so much ".that's what I was taught." He stays up to date on information and policies.

You'll get help if you run into problems along the way. There will be times where we stop and he asks if anyone has any questions. We all past our tests (3) and a very experienced knowledgeable man made a 100! NICE work. I accomplished a 100 also, in taking the shooting test, (the Glock barrels are not as well made as mine) which I knew I could do because of my shooting experience.

I now have the conference in what I am and am not supposed to do after a short (40 hrs or so) one week course, plus the level 2 course he also gave me. Never rushed anything in training and I don't see how it could have been improved. The 1 star ratings should be ignored for a few reasons. One, there's always going to be "that guy". Two, there's always going to be "that guy".

You don't tell a man how to run HIS business if HE didn't ask. Simmons is not a rude individual, not even in the slightest bit. In fact quite the opposite, and even fun and uplifting. He even let's you eat your food in the class as long as your not messy and clean up after yourself. I think there is a level 4 class he gives if you want to do personal body guard work.

I believe it's 6 hrs long. Nothing I've heard Mr. Simmons say is wrong, questionable, or doubtable. They will be moving to a different building in a month or two as per the failed maintenance and attention to detail of the building owners so if there are any postponed training dates you know why. Thank you once again sir, you made getting to know you a very pleasurable experience I won't soon forget.

He was very informative on the laws and regulations of Texas for security officers. I would recommend him if you are looking to become a licensed guard.
