I used their service for several years until I sold the building involved in June. To warn them, I wrote a note with my last check to them in May, telling them of the upcoming sale and that they would need to make arrangement with the new owner of the building. When the June invoice arrived, I called them (the number seems to be a cell phone of whatever employee is on duty at that moment).

I was assured that he would "pass on the message" to "corporate". By now, I'm sure you can see where this is going. July's invoice arrived. Same phone call.same promise to contact "corporate". Today, August's invoice arrived. The employee I reached refused to put me in touch with "corporate", said he was busy, and hung up on me. They are a Nevada corporation.

They have a Valencia, CA address which is probably a PO Box. A google search indicated an address in another CA city, but all listed phone numbers revert back to the Palm Springs employee cell phone. Someone sure doesn't want to be found. Extremely unprofessional. After 4 months, I still have not received a callback. Stay away from them if you want to have any sort of normal business relationship.

Terrible service and very rude drivers! Lazy and inefficient. They sit in their cars and do nothing.

On my way to work this morning, , at the intersection of Dinah Shore and Golf Club Dr. in Palm Springs, a white Maxwell Security Patrol vehicle #72 driven by a heavy-set Caucasian man blew threw the intersection, seeming completely unaware that he had run a red light. He caused a Sunline bus to brake and swerve, sending several drivers into a panic of braking and swerving to avoid him, including me.

He continued north on Golf Club at a low rate of speed, completely oblivious to his actions. He eventually pulled to the side of the road near Ramon and as I passed him, he was texting on his cell phone. I reported this incident to the email address on their website, but not a single response. Texting while driving in a security company car? Unbelievable, and worse is that they just don't seem to care.

They are the worst I have ever encountered. I was getting picked up for work, I ran down stairs I was running late for work next maxwell security pulled a gun and pointed in my face and as soon as I pulled my phone to record him he ran to his car and pulled a taser and all because he said I ran down my own stairs. And I had a child with me these people are horrible

I was threatened and shouted at by one of the Maxwell drivers racing through the residential neighborhood with narrow roads shouting that I was in their way, even though I had the right of way. It was a young, hermaphroditic looking driver in the Maxwell vehicle. There's been dozens of home robberies in the last few months. It's no wonder when the Maxell patrol cars drive so fast, they can't see any kind of suspicious activity happening. I think a good night vision camera with motion sensor alarm and recording is the best security option compared to these types of Maxwell patrollers

We have had this company contracted in tandem with our alarm company for years because Indio police do not respond to residential alarms. Our alarm was tripped last week while we were away, I received a prompt call from the alarm company advising of the situation and that they were going to contact Maxwell so they could come out to assess the situation. 61 minutes later I get a call from Maxwell asking for the gate access code to get into the complex.

You can imagine what could have happened in that hour, I shun think. When I questioned the caller and cited their lack of appropriate response time I got excuses and attitude. This company is not who you want to have backing you up. Maxwell should be embarrassed.

Unprofessional Security service. Mr Steven Otto seems to be operating the business out of a car. This company fails to communicate in a timely fashion. They hire low quality entry level security guards. The poor service justifies the low cost. Seek service elsewhere.
