Called North Coast needing help. The dispatcher (#7, I'm sure that's not really her number) hung up on the first call. The second time I called, she was very nasty and seemed extremely bothered. The reason I called was because someone painted a swastika on the sidewalk. Apparently Nazi hate symbols are no big deal to North Coast Patrol, no one ever came out or did anything about it. Pathetic, shameful company.

It saddens me to say we're back to where we were on my original review. I always wondered why we always have the same vehicle parked in the same single and only visitor spot on my street and it's never cited so I figured maybe they got it before I did they remove the citation but then it hit me if this is the case why isn't it being towed like it should be.

So I park my car in a visitor spot and saw everything to ask you for when your car is cited keep in mind I parked my car right outside the clubhouse in the pool area it saddens me to say this clearly shows that we are not getting any patrols on the street I live on which makes sense as to why when people at HOA meetings bring this matter up they are told we get emails from this company about parking violations so what I found out if you call them they ask you for all the vehicle information as long with a picture of the vehicle comparing the information to ask you for to the information on my citation there simply forwarding your picture to the property management office or company along with a copy of a citation filled out at the office or Home Office I should say shame on you North Coast Patrol and thank you for collecting a paycheck without doing the job all the residents here who have been broken into truly appreciate your lack of effort and severe negligence of your duties.

The guy who works Sunday has one job: dispatch an officer. Not to give opinions, advise or question about anything. Take the info and dispatch. Every call he answers is ridiculous, if he doesnt hang up on you.

The Good: there are some very helpful agents who take info and dispatch - that's their job. The Bad: there is one guy who (worked Sun Apr 10, 2022) who is lethargic, smarmy, a smart ass and has hung up on us or questioned why we are calling when his job is to take info and dispatch a unit. This guy will not divulge his dispatcher number or changes it when he recognizes our number calling in. Get rid of him. You get 2 stars because of the other helpful reps.

Wow, I'm going to buck the trend of negative reviews. I recently applied for a variance with an NCP inspection. The inspector was very polite and professional. I interact with NCP about something every few months, could be temp parking for a few days, overnight RV parking, notifing a solicitor to leave, or kids messing around at the pool, etc.

Every time they cooperated promptly professionally. They are not the police and our HOA's only pay for minimal patrols, so in that respect we'd need to pay more to get more. Also, I don't think renters are always informed of the HOA rules. I rented out my home and had the tenants initial and sign a doc with the pool, parking, etc rules, and they still did not follow them and arguing about them. Anyway, 20+ year resident here and I think some people should live where there are no rules that need to be enforced.

Spoke with NCP today since we had not updated our parking passes and they said they will tow my car from my driveway even though we now have an appt. I have the original parking pass from NCP displayed that has been valid since I moved in 4 years ago. I explained that we just had a child which is why the pass had not been updated and that we use the car for our baby.

They told me to park on the street until my upcoming appt in two weeks. I do not understand a company that would tow a car from a driveway that was have not reported by the resident.

The single most unprofessional organization that I have encountered in 20 years. That I had to give them 1 star just to leave a review is an insult to the star received. I manage global security systems for my organization and routinely terminate for less behaviors demonstrated against those they are paid to protect. You simply DO NOT treat parties who PAY for the end result like criminals and display a behavior of authority over their right to protections.

Abuse of authority is not a service contribution to the end user. That these guys have a pathetic review and still are hired by HOA's and living communities goes a long way towards defining half the problems we have in this country. Pay the lowest bidder and ignor the complaints by those who pay you for a place you want to call home? A moral defeat ETA: Gary, I have zero interest in reaching out to you for resolution.

I have solved my grievance by accepting the need to park my vehicle off site, removing your organization from ANY opportunity to harrass me again. Granted, I may no longer utilize the parking space I pay already to have, but that is MY choice and you and your crew will have zero recourse to exorsize the very threat to tow that was recently administered without cause. Organizations like yours never get a second chance. My mission is to continue discrediting your organization on every medium I can raise. Good luck keeping up.

I was visiting a friend it was about 10:30 at night and the security guard comes through sits right behind me with his brights on for over 5 minutes finally got out of the car and you said why was I here and I said I was getting something until you turn your bright lights on me and I stayed right there and this it's not the only incident that I've heard about that this company I also called the company that night and I got hung up on

This company is awful. Poor customer service and quality of work contracted for is subpar. They are more concerned with ticketing "lawful" homeowners than they are with providing any semblance of actual security. If your HOA is hiring them for parking enforcement alone then you might be pleased but for anything else shop elsewhere. I have updated my parking permit with my HOA several times and yet continue to walk out to see tow notices on my windshield again and again. Time to file my fifth complaint against North Coast Patrol with my HOA.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality I just had a nice run in with their trashy guard. I guess he thought it would be okay to harass the very residents that hired his company. He drew his weapon on me when I asked for his card. Of course it's not his card just a generic card for the business, with a PO Box for a business address.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value Rude workers. These people aren't security patrol, they're parking Nazi's. When you call to talk to them, they're rude people, who you can tell hate their jobs, hate their lives.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. This company is worthless. They have no sense of urgency. Have tried calling for several different reasons - each time met with apathy and no sense of actual safety concern for the tenants of the building. Multiple times they've directed me to call the non-emergency police line for issues on safety within my apartment complex. What the hell are security guards for if not to keep the residents secure?

Nothing more than a slight deterrence with their crappy patrol cars. Useless, always making excuses to respond to anything of urgency, and rude as hell! You'd be better off hiring a couple of homeless guys to protect whatever you're protecting. Good luck!

After reading all of the negative reviews about this company, I would like to reinstate my original review. Are they not supposed to give you a 24 hour notice before you are towed? Well, they put one on my truck all right, but not until the night it was towed. I only saw it for the first time when I picked up the truck at the tow yard. I think they are in cahoots with Western Towing, and get kick backs from them for each car towed. I think we should consider a class action law suit. What do you say people?

Gary the owner is a nice guy and straight shooter. But he really needs to call into the office on a private line and see how Britta answers the phone and how she speaks with people. This is a customer service company and most often the first person one encounters is the receptionist. Britta needs an attitude adjustment. She is hurting the reputation of the company. I hate calling in if I need something adjusted with our account.

One of the patrol cars knocked on my window when I was in my car about to go to the store, I rolled it down and the FIRST thing he said was " you cannot be in your car you have to be inside your house it is past curfew" The guy was trying to tell me a lie, I proceeded to tell him there's no curfew why can't I be in my car? he didn't answer my question told me he was going to call the cops and wouldn't leave me alone unless I showed him were I live, I told him my address so he'd leave me alone but I think it's very unprofessional, Mexican male with gold bracelet 1/12/21

These guys are crooks. Have to be on the take. Car parked at WestRidge in San Elijo and towed the first night I was parked in the guest space. Hadn't been here in 3 days.

Joke of a security patrol. These idiots frequently speed through our gated neighborhood; no matter how many times we tell them to slow down, they still do it. They towed our guest's car that surprised us on Christmas eve when it was impossible to get a parking pass. They leave tow notices on vehicles that are parked in driveways; it's on private property, dumbasses! By far, the most unprofessional and reckless "security" company, and I will make it my mission to have the HOA replace them.

This company is a joke and only answers phone cause they have to! If you say "fuck" repeating what a young punk said who is disrupting your neighborhood, they get offended, lol! Do your job, actually try to make a little difference in this world!. *Gary, I would be more worried about your company and why you have such poor reviews. Obviously something is not right. I will be bringing up a review of your contract at the next Board Meeting.

From dispatcher #11 to your patrol officers, could you have assembled a more miserable, unmotivated mob? We contacted your offices last night to report a loud party next door going well past 10:00 pm. We were reminded by dispatcher #11 that it was only 10:20 and he hung up the phone. I called back and asked him why he hung up and his response was, "I thought our conversation was over".

I reminded dispatcher #11 that the CC&R's clearly state that 10:00 is the curfew and add to that, we had our 3 very young grandchildren staying the night. Dispatcher #11 didn't hang up on me but promised nothing. Well, we got nothing from NC Patrol, the party went on past 1:00 am and ended only after we were able to contact the owner of the home. If rude and worthless are are the theme of your company's Mission Statement, mission accomplished North County Patrol.

It's 10:45 PM on Thursday, July 18th, I called North Coast patrol about teenagers who do not live in our community arriving in two trucks in the Cottages II and they went straight to the pool and common area which closes t 10:00pm. I requested a follow up call after the issue was taken care of and Northcoast patrol says they do not call back the residents who are paying the bills for their cars and security service. Does this sound fair?

Trash scam company with overzealous rent a cops looking to harass people for parking in front of their own houses. Provide no real benefit to society. It is extremely concerning to me that the uniformed rent a cops are allowed to carry firearms. This company should be shut down.

Horrible business! And the manager Berreta has nothing but attitude. I stay at my sisters house once a week over night for work, and the last two times I've stayed, I've come out to tow notices on my windshield. Both times my sister called in my license plate number to notify them that my car would be there. This last time I decided to call to see what was going on.

The person I spoke to in the morning wasn't able to give me an answer as to why this was happening, but he was at least professional about it. He informed me that I should call back later to speak with his manager, which I regretfully did because she's extremely rude & unprofessional. I tried explaining to her what happened & how this could be avoided next time & she cut me off by telling me that the ticket has been voided. Ok, great!

But what about the next time this happens & what if my car actually gets towed because someone isn't doing their job? I don't need the ticket voided, I need this to stop happening. Then this lady had the nerve to tell ME to calm down. I wasn't upset, I was looking for a better answer then "the ticket was already voided".

Hey Gary R. Whoever Berreta is, she's a rude, condescending witch & needs to be fired. She is of NO HELP whatsoever & YOUR company is getting ready to be sued the next time a notice is put on my car. We called in my license plate TWICE, and TWICE I came out to a tow notice. WTF? YOUR company isn't doing their jobs & it's going to end up costing YOU BIG money if you don't fix it.

That Berreta witch's response to me was, "well the ticket was voided". It should've NEVER been placed on my vehicle in the first place! And ok, great! It's been voided. but what happens when you actually tow my car because of your incompetence, which then makes ME have to pay to get it back as well as miss work!?! I don't want my ticket voided, I want YOUR company, GARY R., to do their job!

And don't come at me with your generic response like you do with everyone else on here. DO SOMETHING TO FIX THIS BS, or find yourself in court! And believe me, Yelp is all I need for proof that your company is shady.

As a property manager for over 30 years I want to put in a good word for North Coast Patrol. I have had many guard services over the years and North Coast Patrol has been an excellant company and has always served our community with professionalism. I have never had a complaint for the years they have been contracted from us. It's the nature of the business that causes these reviews and is so unfair to this company.

This company just towed my sister in law's car twice in two days! The first night, they drove in late, we forgot to call it in, OK our error, $386 charge to get it out. So I call her car in to let this company know she's staying until Monday so the car doesn't get towed again, AND THEY TOWED IT AGAIN LAST NIGHT! I just called them up and they said they didn't get the call, or my voicemail and there's nothing they can do and we have to pay another $386 today once they open to get it out again!

One of the other reviewers worded them right when he said a "Predatory patrol company that works hand in hand with Western Towing". They towed this car 2 nights in a row and wouldn't offer as much as a discount for their error. I have to wait until Tuesday to call even a member of Management I was told. Leslie, the dispatcher I spoke with this morning refused to give me her last name and a number for corporate. I'd rate them a 0 if I could, Money Hungry Patrol.
