Monitoring service has been excellent. I have been with the company for many years. The maintenance service is okay, but expensive. You are charged for a service call, plus labor and parts. They do not credit the service call charge towards the total cost, like many other companies, if you actually have repairs done.

Customer service has been on point and super responsive. I spoke with Erik one of the last times I needed help and they were very helpful and answered any questions I had. I was pretty clueless and unsure but they were super patient with me.

My experience was so great. Staff was fast, professional, answered my rookie questions and made this single mom feel safe. Would recommend and use again. Was clueless coming into it, but they were super patient!

The service has been great, but the installation team is why I wanted to leave a review. They were incredibly professional, courteous, and respectful of my home. By far the most comfortable I've been with anyone doing work in my home. I also felt that they went out of the way to cover high risk areas adequately - despite the fact it made their job a tad harder. No cutting corners. Highly recommend!

Well I hear these guys are good. They installed a system at one of my locations but when I tried to contact them for a quote for a new commercial property I bought the salesman seems not interested, weeks went by without a emailed quote. I called the office and tried to find out what the issue was, he said he had my email wrong, but they had my phone number in the system and knew exactly what address I was calling about.

So someone did in fact have some contact information, my realtor also gave her business card. He said he would email me a new quote, now it's been a few more weeks and I'm no closer to getting an alarm system installed. I was looking forward to working with Atronic, but I'll have to look elsewhere now.

Perry's team has wired most of the homes in Kansas City and the surrounding areas. All the top end builders use Atronic Alarm for their homes and family. We have Atronic in our home and business. Any time there is a question or issue, I receive an answer immediately. Most of the time, their technicians can resolve an issue over the phone by connecting to our panel.

They offer tune-ups for their systems to check all sensors for reliability and performance. If you are building a new home or have an existing house, Atronic has a wide range of products to keep you secure and in touch with your surroundings. Dave Austin-Austin Ironworks

Technician was very helpful and polite. It is disappointing that my two options for fixing my system is to spend $250 for a new piece of equipment or sign a 3 year contract for $5 more per month. I have been a great customer for several years but will probably look for a new company.

I have never vented on FB or anywhere else- but today is the day! American Electronics-(our home secruity company for years) is one of the worst companies I have ever done business with. Because of multiple issues and poor customer service I ended our relationship and they tell me I cant because we have a long term contract? Let me understand, even if they do not live up to an average level of service I still owe them for the duration of our contarct- they sent it to a collection agency which obviously impacts our credit etc.if they would have just been an average company with average service we'd still be with them. Live and learn! PS- Cox has been a great security company for way less money and commitment! DT

This place is a joke, look elsewhere for quality service and value! Nothing but lies and empty promises with this business, all they want is your hard earned money. There are way better companies to work with, that actually care about the customer, and want to provide quality products and services. So save yourself from the headaches of dealing with this train wreck, and go somewhere else!

Will never recommend this company. Changed our security monitoring over to them in Feb. 2014 and also purchased a HoneyWell thermostat from them that was to have smart phone capability. Initially had no issues until a blower motor broke in our furnace on 12/9/14 and our own heating and air company we have a service contract with, said that HoneyWell thermostat was not compatible with our system when out to fix the furnace.

It had our furnace and heat pump running at the same time and it was a matter of time before the motor in the heat pump would've blown out from running both simultaneously. The technician also told this to the company rep. as well as saying whoever the HVAC technician was they used, didn't obviously know what he was doing as had he known, then he would've seen that that type of thermostat wouldn't work with our system.

He said it was like their tech just came in, took off the thermostat and connected the American Electronics one without checking the system. This company has handled the matter of the thermostat extremely poor by not returning messages, not apologizing for that matter, and playing games when the rep was contacted. Husband had to keep following up and pay a surprise visit to the rep.

Then the company only ended up refunding the amount for the thermostat and not the separate charge for the install of it which was agreed upon. They had the nerve to say that they went above and beyond by not charging us a restocking fee when husband called about the other reimbursement. They also are giving some neighbors of ours the run around with another product of theirs and they have been customers for 18 years!
