The keypad is the primary way that you interact with your system, like the keyboard on your computer. The keypad usually will be located near your main entrance, but you can add others for convenience. You use the keypad to turn your system on and off and make simple programming changes. The display on your keypad provides useful information about your system's status.

For example, simply monitoring for activity may only require an analog camera, where High Definition (HD) may be required to view the details that analog just cannot provide.

I punched in the wrong code to turn off alarm before entry, and was overwhelmingly surprised at the lightning fast response, in under 30 seconds, through a phone call to my husband and myself. The system was installed late last year by Joe and his crew. They are 5 star professionals. I highly recommend them to anyone who is interested in a AAA plus security system.

We are so pleased with the level of service we have had with Sterling. We have been a long-time client of Sterling Security Systems. For over ten years, the security system and monitoring has been reliable and trust worthy. It includes carbon monoxide and water monitoring. We have not had any significant issues except replacing aging mechanical parts. The service is always responsive and prompt. The service charges have remained very reasonable over the years.
Recently we have had an upgrade to the system including integration of a video surveillance system. Joe the owner treated us like old friends, not to mention the cost was reasonable and affordable. His service crew has been with his company for years and they were most helpful and courteous. The work was done promptly in one day and the house was left in the original immaculate condition. We have many friends who are also happy clients of Joe. It is nice to see a local company thriving with a loyal following.
