Not a good company to work I suggest if anyone wants a job go to Walmart McDonald's or hotel housekeeping before even considering doing a application the supervisor Jason is very unpleasant and disrespectful as soon as you tell him anything he don't like his whole attitude changes. If you don't complete a 2 week notice even if you already worked the time and should be getting 10.50 hr they will pay you on your check at 8.55 and say the company can do so.

So glade I quit when I did the worst company I have ever worked for in my life. Never heard of a company that can do that legally but nothing lost would never refer or work there ever again in life. Ps couldn't leave a comment without a star so gave them a 1 but it shouldn't have no stars for a rating.

Were I to rate this company on the merits of their service, then it is fair to give them 4/5 stars. The security coverage they provide is reliable and professional enough, but they do not really provide any heavy-duty security service. The bulk of their work consists of extending the halo of police protection, as their personnel consists mostly of unarmed stationary guards (rent-a-cops at best, more like "human scarecrows") and patrol vehicle drivers (glorified neighborhood watchmen). [They do provide armed security guards, but this is not a large part of their services.] Their service is GOOD FOR WHAT IT IS WORTH.

If you are in an area with poor police coverage, it is probably a good idea to hire this service to extend the halo of police protection. But were I to give their service 5/5 stars, that would be insanely generous! To be fair, anything much lower would be arguably vengeful. The officers in leadership positions are professional, essentially all veterans of police and/or military service.

They are reasonable authority figures and have sufficient expertise. Hiring practices at least screen out felons and hardcore druggies, so there's THAT. As an employer, this business gets a big fat 1-star rating! I would not recommend working for them if your life depended on it. First off, pay is $9.00 hourly. Granted, being an unarmed stationary guard is a do-nothing job, essentially "human scarecrow".but may be potentially dangerous!

And this company pays barely more than federal minimum wage! There are absolutely no benefits for employees (except for healthcare benefits for fulltime employees after serving long enough - though I guarantee they would not offer any if they were not required to. uh, thanks Obamacare). You could never expect any time off, holidays, not even any free time! Full-time employees will not be scheduled for an unreasonably large number of hours per week, but they will demand that you come in for extra shifts, often on short notice. Reporting in for such extraneous shifts is not mandatory, as you are free to decline, but they use all manner of pressure techniques and guilting to get their officers to report in. [Of course, the substandard pay doesn't hurt them in that regard.] The company does not even provide everything that is needed for the job.

For instance, they supply uniform, but you must return it and PAY FOR DRYCLEANING upon resignation or termination. The job is intrinsically boring and hours are typically lousy, but that comes with the nature of the work. The least they could do is offer a more regular schedule (which I do think they do well, as schedules are at least kept regular and consistent most of the time), but with less crosstown commuting!

It would be sensible to assign their personnel to locations located conveniently near their residences. Granted, the nature of the enterprise requires their personnel to report to lousy parts of town, so it is unreasonable to expect to operate in the nicer areas. However, I don't think it is reasonable for, say, someone living on the northwest side of Columbus to report to ghetto areas on the east side of Columbus, when there are just as many closer ghetto areas on the west side of Columbus, all for lousy pay.

Those PUTZES couldn't even be arsed to handle taxes correctly (i.e. by sending W2 forms on-time to employees). If you are looking for extra protective coverage, then this company may just provide a useful and valuable service. I would stand by the 4/5 stars for the service itself, if you could ignore the abysmal treatment of their personnel. If you would consider working for them, then you must really hate yourself.

My family and I were traveling on I270 south in the Columbus area before Grove City tonight 3-16-18 around 10pm. We were on our way to a sporting event for the weekend and have two small children in the car. One of the US Protection Service vehicles license plate HCA 5883 an Ohio plate passed us at a high rate of speed weaving in and out of traffic almost hitting 2 vehicles in front of us.

The driver passed us looked over and flicked us off. I'm not sure why traffic was heavy and there was no where to go. His aggressive driving was absolutly uncalled for and the fact that he decided to go ahead and give the bird to my entire family warrants this review. If this is the caliper of employee this company hires I would not reccomend them to anyone.
